The Science
HOW RED LIGHT THERAPY ACTUALLY WORKS
Your cells run on a molecule called ATP, adenosine triphosphate, and they produce it inside structures called mitochondria. When red and near-infrared light hits your skin at the right wavelength, it's absorbed by an enzyme in those mitochondria called cytochrome c oxidase. That absorption kicks off a chain reaction: more ATP gets made, and your cells have more energy to do what they already do naturally, repair, renew, and regenerate.
This isn't a new discovery. It's called photobiomodulation, and it's been studied in peer reviewed research for decades, most consistently in the 630 to 660 nanometre range for surface level work and 810 to 850 nanometres for deeper tissue. Rubiiskin panels are built around those exact ranges.
We're not going to tell you it's magic. It's mitochondria doing their job with better fuel.
